Your NYC: Top of the Rock Observation Deck Ticket places you high above Manhattan at the top of Rockefeller Center. From this vantage point, the city feels wide and balanced. Central Park spreads out to the north, while Midtown and Lower Manhattan extend to the south. The observation deck spans three levels, creating room to explore without pressure. Indoor viewing areas offer comfort, and outdoor terraces provide open views without glass barriers.
Your visit begins inside 30 Rockefeller Plaza, where the atmosphere sets the tone. The space introduces the building’s history and design. A high-speed elevator then carries you upward in under a minute. When the doors open, the skyline feels immediate and expansive. The outdoor deck is one of the largest in New York City. Clear sightlines make it easy to spot familiar landmarks and new details.
You’re free to move between levels and settle where the view feels right. Some visitors focus on Central Park, while others follow the streets below. The experience stays calm even during busy hours. Free WiFi is available throughout the deck, this makes sharing photos simple and quick.

Please bring comfortable shoes and clothing, and water.
In the case of inclement weather, portions of the deck may be closed for safety reasons. You will be advised about weather conditions and visibility prior to entry.
Tickets will not be refunded on the same day in the case of inclement weather. However, speak with staff on-site on the date of your visit and your ticket can be reissued for a future time and date.
The last elevator to the top goes up 1 hour before closing time.
Meeting Point
The main entrance to Top of the Rock is at 30 Rockefeller Plaza, on 50th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues. The entrance is marked by a red carpet.
