Created by Bartabas within the Grand Stable of the Palace of Versailles in 2003, the National equestrian Academy of Versailles is a very unique ‘‘corps de ballet’’. Based on the transmission as much as the arts of performance, the daily teachings associate Haute Ecole dressage with varied artistic disciplines, such as dancing, singing, fencing or Kyudo.The equerries develop a real artistic sensitivity, thanks to a very regular repertory, fully dedicated to the audience, committed to preserve French riding of lightness.The equestrian show ‘’La Voie de l'écuyer’’, choreographed by Bartabas reflects the daily work of this company-school.
